I talked to Jerry for 2 hrs just a couple of months ago. He was struggling with his health, but seemed to enjoy talking and sharing past events. I texted him a couple of weeks ago, he said he wasn't one to text much, and he said he had moved in with his son and wasn't doing so well. He missed his wife so very much and was waiting to rejoinher he said. I knew Jerry since Kdg, when he broight me a kitten for my birthday- I wasn't allowed to keep it. But we joked about that when we talked last. He was such a sweet and nice guy. Condolences to the family.
